Eskenazi Museum of Art

Art is the personality of an artist. Art is the voice and the pen of an artist, Artist talk with the world through his work. Art also represents the feelings, mindsets and dreams of certain group of people. And the desire to have the collection of artwork shows one's interest in history, different people and cultures. A similar Wonder is the Esktenazi Museum of Art in the Indiana University, Bloomington campus.

In 1941, the president of Arts department of IU laid the foundation of this museum. The aim was to burn the flame inside students, lit the fire to learn more about diverse cultures and study about different places around the world through viewing the original artwork of past and present. The current collection contains around 45,000 object and approximately 1400 are on display.
